The Kanabec Area is rich with many lakes and rivers for water enthusiasts. Our most popular area lakes are; Knife, Ann, Fish, Mora, Eleven, Bass, Lewis, Five, Full of Fish, Quamba and Pomroy. The rivers are Snake, Knife, Groundhouse, Grindstone, Ann and Rice.

The Kanabec Area also offers great hunting and hiking in the Mille Lacs Wildlife Refuge. With the Mille Lacs recreational area in our backyard, it is every nature enthusiasts paradise.

Beautiful state and city parks are scattered throughout the area providing exquisite settings for picnics, gatherings, sports and hunting.
