Our primary focus is Business.
In addition to business retention, our goal is to attract new employers by presenting the value of our area to businesses looking for opportunities in relocation, adding a location or entering into a new venture. We believe we have a lot to offer and hope you will see the benefit of doing business in our area. Our objective is to expose a growing community with excellent economic appeal to others who want to share in the prosperity. The benefits of a well educated workforce with strong values and an excellent work ethic are a tremendeous asset to any businesses bottom line.

As a neighbor to one of the fastest growing counties in the state, we are becoming a bedroom community of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. To avoid being a commuter community, our intention is to get ahead of the curve by inviting businesses to share in our opportunities. The benefit for us is to add strength to our tax base in hopes of being better able to support the infrastructure the new homes and housing developments require.

Formerly the Mora Area Chamber of Commerce, the Kanabec Area Chamber of Commerce represents businesses in all of Kanabec County. We are in business, with business, for business!!
